In 2024, after winning the Croatian Blues Challenge, Jadran earned the honor of representing Croatia at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 2027. A year later, he carried that momentum to Pinetop Perkins’ Blues Camp, performing in legendary blues clubs across Memphis, Chicago, Nashville, Clarksdale, and beyond.
Now, a new chapter begins.
Imperfect State is preparing for its upcoming journey to the European Blues Challenge in Poland where we will represent our country, CROATIA — a milestone that represents both recognition and responsibility. Over the past months, we have worked relentlessly on refining our arrangements, deepening our dynamics, and shaping our set into something even more focused, daring, and emotionally charged.
We’ve written new material especially for this stage, pushing our signature fusion of jazz, blues, psychedelic rock, funk, progressive structures, and oriental colors into bolder and more uncompromising territory.
Our music has always moved between groove and atmosphere, precision and spontaneity, structure and improvisation — but for Poland, we are taking everything further.
The road to Poland is not only a competition journey — it is a celebration of the community that stands behind us. In the coming weeks, we will share notes and stories from our travels here on our website, along with updates, behind-the-scenes moments, and acknowledgments of the sponsors whose support is making this journey possible.
Poland is the next stage.
The groove is deeper.
The sound is bolder.
And Imperfect State is ready.
